Things get very interesting when she finds out her childhood crush has no interest in martial arts and is studying to become a prosecuting lawyer. - Chobits: Another funny series about a farmboy that moves into the city to study for college. He finds a trashed robot (persacom) that he manages to get started and all she says is 'chi'. So he tries to teach her speech and about daily life stuff. - Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (and second season): Murder mystery series about a town where someone dies and someone disappears during a festival held once every year. More adult than the above two series lots of violence involved so its not for the faint hearted. Usually the violent bits are saved till the ending episode so its not a complete bloodbath from start to finish. Every 4-5 episodes is a new story starting from same start point. - Death Note: Another dark murder mystery series, about a top class student whom finds a notebook which can kill people if you write their names in them. Not as violent as Higurashi but contains a lot of dramatic parts.
